Allow PageSoar in Google Workspace
Someone at your company tried to connect PageSoar to Google and saw “This app is blocked”. Google showed that because your organization only lets apps its admin has approved read Google data. Approving PageSoar takes a Google Workspace super administrator about two minutes.
What PageSoar asks Google for
Two read-only permissions, and nothing else:
- Search Console, to read the search figures for the site the person picks (
webmasters.readonly). - Google Analytics, to read reports for the property the person picks (
analytics.readonly).
PageSoar cannot change Search Console or Analytics settings, and it does not ask for Gmail, Drive, Calendar or Google Ads. Each person still approves the permissions on Google’s own screen. No project, key or service account is created in your organization. How the data is used and stored is on the privacy page.

How to approve it
- Sign in to admin.google.com as a super administrator.
- Open Security, Access and data control, API controls (or go straight to admin.google.com/ac/owl).
- Under App access control, press Manage app access, then Configure new app.
- Paste the client ID above into the search box, press Search, and select PageSoar (marked Web and Verified).
- Under Scope, keep All in your domain for everyone, or choose Select org units for only the team that runs your website. Press Continue.
- Under Access to Google Data, choose Trusted and press Continue.
- Check the summary and press Finish. PageSoar now shows under Configured apps.
The person can then connect Google from PageSoar again; nothing else changes for anyone. Google explains these settings.
