How to read the Did it work? screen

The Did it work? screen lists every change PageSoar made live and says, page by page, whether it helped, hurt or is still being measured.

This is the screen to open when you want to know whether the work paid off. It leads with one sentence about the whole record, then lists the pages that already have an answer.

The first line#

The line starting The agent's own record gives the share of judged changes that improved their page. It says so plainly when more changes went backwards than forwards. Changes PageSoar could not judge are left out of that share, not counted as wins or losses.

The verdict on each page#

  • Working. The page improved.
  • Declined. It did worse.
  • No change. The page did not move either way.
  • Too early. The measuring window is still open.
  • Can't tell yet. The comparison cannot be pinned on the change yet. Hover the verdict for the reason.

Each card shows the page's numbers at baseline and at whichever of the 30, 60 and 90 day windows have closed. Pages still inside their windows are counted in a line under the list and get their card the day they can be judged. How the comparison works is explained separately.

Undoing a change#

A card has a Revert button. It asks you to confirm before returning the page to how it was before that day.

When it is empty#

Before any change is live the screen says No changes recorded yet. Once changes exist but no window has closed, it says Nothing to show yet.
