Pick the goal that counts as a win

The conversion goal is the one action you want more of, and it sets the number every screen counts and the style every draft aims at.

Choose one action you want more of, such as a demo request or a purchase. Every figure PageSoar shows and every draft it writes is aimed at that one choice, so numbers compare like with like.

Where the choices come from#

The cards are the key events in your Google Analytics. Each shows how many conversions and events it recorded, and the drafting style PageSoar would use for it. Events counted often enough to rank pages by come first. Page views and similar reading signals sit under Other key events, and you can still pick one.

Steps#

  1. Open the goal screen.
  2. Select the card for your action. It is marked Current goal.
  3. Optionally type your team's own name for it under What your team calls and save. Every screen uses that name. Leave it empty to keep the Analytics name.

If there are no cards#

Either Analytics is not connected, it could not be read just now, or it is connected but no event is marked as a key event. That last one is set in Analytics itself under Admin, then Key events. Until a goal exists, the agent drafts toward booking a demo, and you can change that under Advanced.
