SEO glossary A to ZWhat the Meta Ads screen shows
What your Facebook and Instagram ads bought, what works, what does not and the campaigns to run next, read-only.
The Meta Ads screen reads your Facebook and Instagram ad account and answers three questions: what did the money buy, what is working, and what should run next.
Read-only by design#
PageSoar reads the account with a token that can only read. It never changes a campaign. The campaign drafts are for you, or whoever runs your ads, to create in Ads Manager.
What you see#
- A summary line: spend over the window, results returned, cost per result and, when available, sales returned per unit spent.
- What works and What does not, each finding with its detail. A campaign, ad or audience needs enough results to be compared before it appears.
- Campaigns to run next, ranked by the money involved. Each draft lists objective, audience, placements, daily budget and test length, where to send people, creative, what is needed first, what to expect and what to watch for. Each is labelled Measured or Directional.
- Every campaign with a verdict, then tables by ad, placement and age group.
- What this could not see, listing the blind spots of the data.
If it is not connected#
The screen says Meta Ads is not connected. Once an ad account and token are set it reads the account; Read the account again refreshes it. Without Google Analytics connected, drafts are not tied to the pages that convert.
