What the Home screen shows

The four stages across the top, the one thing to do next and the panels beside it.

Home is built to answer one question: what should I do now? It does not list everything. It names one next action and shows where your site is on the way to its first measured results.

The four stages#

Across the top are Set up, First fix, Measuring and Results. The one your workspace is in is lit, and the ones behind it are ticked. PageSoar works this out from what has really happened: setup is done when the connections and goal exist, the first fix is done when a change is recorded, and Results begins once at least one change has a finished verdict.

Do this next#

One card with one main button. Below it, a short Then list shows the next few actions in order. The order is fixed: the setup step that is open comes first, then a change that went backwards, then changes waiting for your approval, then findings assigned to you, then pages that stopped earning, and finally fixing the next page.

The panel beside it#

  • While you set up, Your setup counts the steps done and shows your goal.
  • Once a change is live, Being measured shows how many changes are measuring and when the first result is due.
  • After that, Results so far counts changes that improved, did not change, went backwards or are still measuring.

Also on the screen#

  • Since your last visit: a single line counting changes applied, results in and proposals decided. It does not appear on your first visit or when nothing changed.
  • Jump back in: the last screen and pages you worked on, each with a Pin button.
  • Pinned pages: your own short list of pages to return to. Unpin removes one.
  • When enough searches have moved, a line says how many moved up and how many moved down, linking to What changed.
